Résumé :
When changes are made to repository structures or tables, these changes do not immediately reflect in the associated ALV lists due to the caching of the field catalog, which is only updated upon system restart or after executing specific reports. This caching was historically refreshed daily up to Release 4.5. Post Release 4.5, it is mandatory to reset this buffer manually using the Report BALVBUFDEL to reflect structural changes in ALV lists. However, text changes in the data elements are not updated by this operation due to separate buffering that requires a different method for refreshing as described in the note. Execution of BALVBUFDEL in production environments is discouraged to avoid resetting server buffers entirely.
