You want to stop job &v1&. This deletes released jobs of this name.Currently, however, there are no jobs of this kind or there is a jobthat is in the "dead time" between run and release; this can lastseveral seconds.

Procedure
It may be the case that there are jobs &v1&, but they do not yet havestatus "released". Look in the job selection. If this is the case, tryit again later. If the job is in the "dead time" between run andrelease, it is not displayed in the job selection either. If you aresure that the job exists, wait a few more seconds.
