Diagnosis
You want to go to planninghierarchy maintenance. Planning scenario &V1&has, however, not been activated yet. Activation ensures that theplanning hierarchy table structures correspond tocharacteristic/planning step assignments. The current structure maynot, therefore, represent the actual assignment of plan characteristicsto planning steps.

Procedure

• Stay in hierarchy maintenance only if you could not activate the
planning scenario, as proportional factors still exist in hierarchytables with the old structure. Use hierarchy maintenance to delete thisdata. Go back to planning scenario maintenance and execute activation.After having done this you can create proportional factors in the newhierarchy.

• If you do not want to delete any proportional factors due to the
reorganization of plan characteristics, exit hierarchy maintenance andthen activate the planning scenario.
If you do not have authorization to activate planning scenarios,contact
the relevant system administrator.
