Message SAP /CRMBW/MSG_GEN167 - Activation of info types checked

Diagnosis
You have to activate delivered reports and info types.

Procedure
Note that business role SAP_CRM_OR_ACTIVATE must be assigned theuser in the BW client and business role SAP_CRM_OR_ADMIN must beassigned in the CRM client.
Start CRM Operational Reporting Delivery Workbench (transactionORDYWB) in the CRM client and perform the following activities:

  • On the Reports tab, select all reports not yet activated.

  • On the InfoTypes tab, mark all dependent info types not yet
    • activated.
    • Activate the selected reports and info types.

    • When you check Activate BI Queries, you are asked whether to
      • overwrite the business content with the delivered version. The choice tooverwrite or to merge is valid for all info types. Choose the mergeoption only if you want to keep existing settings, for example, forpreviously connected source clients with custom extension fields.
      • Choose OK for remote activation in the source system. The log
        • contains warnings in case authorization is missing for remote activationof DataSources in the source system. As an alternative, you can activateDataSources using transaction RSA5 before you activate the infotypes.
        • Ensure the log does not contain any error messages.

        • In case of RFC errors use transaction ST22 to check your BW
          • client for short dumps.
          If you have problems activating multiple info types at a time, activatethem one by one.
