Procedure for System Administration
To allow for a full-text search function, carry out the following steps:
1. Install a search engine
2. Connect the search engine to the system via Remote Function Call(RFC).
You can set up this connection in Customizing for SAP NetWeaver bychoosing Basic Services --> Knowledge Provider --> Text Retrievaland Information Extraction --> Create RFC Destinations
3. Define a Search Server Relation
You can define the relation in Customizing for SAP NetWeaver by choosingBasic Services --> Knowledge Provider --> Text Retrieval andInformation Extraction --> Define Search Server Relation
4. Define the Indexing Rediness for the document area ATF
You can define the Indexing Rediness for this documentation area inCustomizing for SAP NetWeaver by choosing Basic Services -->Knowledge Provider --> Document Management Services --> Define IndexingRediness
