Diagnosis
Only deactivated accounts may be deleted. The account selected has thestatus Active so the system has terminated the processing.

Procedure
If you want to set the deletion indicator, deactivate the RBD accountfirst. You do this as follows:
Choose transactionChange Value AdjustmentAccount.
Enter the RBD area, the RBD account number and the relevant valuationmethod and choose Enter to confirm your entries.
Choose the menu option Edit -> Account Status. The systemdisplays a dialog box:
Activate -> The account status remains unchanged at Active.

Deactivate -> The account status for the RBD account is changedto Inactive. This is only possible if the account no longer hasany value adjustment positions.
Cancel -> The account status for the RBD account remainsunchanged.
If you have changed the account status you can then set the deletionindicator for the RBD account.
