Use With the net change planning method, only those materials are includedin the planning of replenishments for which there have been changesrelevant to Replenishment since the last planning run. These change maybe, for example, stock changes or replenishment parameter changes. Net change planning helps improve performance. If you do not use thismethod, the planning run analyzes all materials for which Replenishmentis active. Notes When the target stock is calculated dynamically, the net-change methodcan lead to certain materials being "forgotten". Example You start net-change planning for a material where the target stock iscalculated dynamically and activate the net change method. Due to an increase in forecast sales, the target stock (calculateddynamically) is higher than in the last replenishment run. Since no change relevant to replenishment has been made since the lastreplenishment run, it is still not taken into account in Replenishment. You should therefore only use the net change method for materials wherethe target stock is calculated dynamically if you are sure that thematerial has sold since the last replenishment run (i.e. there has beena change in stock). |
