You have unchecked the field NO_AUDIT_TRAIL in the generalCustomizing settings for RMA in SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse.

System Response
Even if the field is unchecked, the system allows you to execute theaudit trail outside the period close process if recasting is used in thesystem. Depending on possible hierarchy changes within a certain period,this Customizing change would lead to deviations between the result inthe query and result displayed in the audit trail.

Procedure
Note that if recasting is used in the system, the audit trail exactlymatches the query results during the period close time window.
During a period close, you are not allowed to change the objecthierarchy (article hierarchy or merchandise hierarchy). That means, itis possible to determine the assigned article numbers related to the RMAobject. The object hierarchy can be changed outside the period close.Therefore, the RMA audit trail would potentially use a differenthierarchy compared to the query results.
