Diagnosis
To read the POS sales data in the update program for promotion budgets,you use the default implementation of the Business Add-In (BAdI)WRF_PPW_X_POS_READ_E, methodPOS_DATA_READ. In this process, the POS sales data is read viaretraction from SAP BI. To do this, you have to specify the name of theanalytics application and a corresponding method in Customizing forPrice Planning, under Configure General Parameters
. At least one of the two values is not available.
In addition, you have to define the analytics application and the methodbeforehand in the settings for data retraction.

System Response
You cannot run the program for updating promotion budgets.

Procedure
Make the required settings.
Alternatively, you can create a custom implementation of the BAdI if youdo not want to use the default implementation with the predefined logic.
