Summary :
When AuCs (Assets under Construction) are migrated from SAP R/2 to R/3, they lose their association with the orders/WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) elements they were settled against, and no new capital investment measures are automatically created. In SAP R/3, disconnected collective AuCs must be managed manually using transactions AIAB (Capital Investment Measure Assets) and AIBY (Distribute Asset under Construction). For previously settled costs in R/2, and to maintain continuity of data, ensure you implement the provided corrections for releases before 4.5A, set the right investment profiles, and adjust the Customizing of Asset Accounting accordingly. Follow the procedure to redistribute line items and recreate a correct settlement relationship under the new system.
