Summary :
Deadlocks (ORA-00060) may occur during parallel InfoCube loading processes referenced in SAP note 84348. This issue arises from the inability to control the INITRANS parameter on InfoCube secondary indexes through standard SAP methods. To mitigate this, the ORA_CUBEINDEX_INITRANS parameter is now fully configurable in the RSADMIN table, implemented by the SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN program. An initial standard value of 2 is recommended, which should be incrementally increased until the deadlock resolves. Users must handle this setting judiciously due to its potential to increase index block space utilization. Solutions include importing specified support packages or correction instructions for BW versions 2.0B to 3.5.
