Summary :
Starting from SAP R/3 4.6A, the "Easy Access" menu behavior has changed. Previously, role menus were part of the company menu but now appear in a user-defined hierarchy within the "Easy Access" menu. This adjustment leads to potential duplication of transactions across different roles in the user menu. To address this, customizing the "SSM_CUST" table by setting "CONDENSE_MENU" to "YES" through SM30 transaction can eliminate redundancies. However, activating this feature may reduce menu loading performance and does not differentiate the source role of transactions. Redundant transactions within the same role are unaffected, overly empty folders are removed. Care needs to be taken with display settings to prevent incorrect menu rendering.
