The SAP error F2 217 arises from function module DETERMINE_TXJCD_EXTERNALLY when multiple jurisdictions are returned by an external tax system during a process that doesn't permit a selection popup due to absence of a dialogue interface. It is generally caused by the incorrect handling of jurisdiction code selections in non-dialogue processes. Customers are advised to follow the correction instructions provided.
