When using the SOAP (Axis) adapter with the MessageIDExtractor handler, the message ID might not be extracted correctly if embedded within a string in the SOAP message. This results in messages being forwarded with an SAP-generated ID instead of the external one. The issue, identified as a program error, is resolved with a new patch available for XI Adapter Framework across multiple support package levels, ensuring correct extraction of message IDs in various formats.
