Summary :
When activating or loading hierarchies in SAP systems, issues such as termination errors RH 109 or RH 211 may occur due to duplicate nodes which contravene system rules. These duplicates may be related to intervals or specific node relationships that the system's consistency check, necessary during hierarchy activation or loading, originally fails to adequately address. SAP has iterated on the consistency conditions over time, as detailed in previous notes, which lacked comprehensive coverage of all scenarios. Resolving the problem, SAP updates include changes to the error message content for better clarity and the implementation of Support Packages in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI and 7.1 BI to aid users by enhancing the hierarchy consistency checks, adding preventive features against configuration issues causing duplicates. Moreover, refined rules outline when duplicates may exist legally, improving system stability and data integrity.
